Photo clock-in

On the way in and out

For Field Workers and Supervisors

Planium Operarios

Workers check their schedule, clock in with a photo and report site work. Supervisors verify shifts and approve tasks from their phones. While a shift is open, the app checks location against the site without storing a route history. The worker app is in Spanish.

Are you a field worker? How to install the app, step by step

How it works

From planning to payroll, no paper in between

  1. Plan the week

Who works on which site each day, and for how many hours. Several sites in one day if needed. Workers see it on their phone.

  2. Workers clock in with a photo

A photo on the way in and another on the way out. The app stores each clock-in location, and workers confirm or correct their hours at the end.

  3. The office verifies

Planium compares what was planned with what was worked and holds back shifts that do not add up until someone reviews them.

  4. Payroll comes from the shifts

The batch is calculated from verified hours and the company overtime policy. Admin reviews it before paying.

From site hours to payroll, keep the crew in view

Schedule the work, verify hours and calculate payroll. Keep tasks, issues, drawings and collections connected to the right site.

Weekly scheduling

Plan where each worker will work and for how many hours each day. Assign the same person to several sites on the same day.

Photos at clock-in and clock-out

Workers take a photo when starting and finishing a shift. The office verifies hours with both photos available for review.

Planned versus worked

Planium compares scheduled work with recorded shifts and holds shifts with serious discrepancies out of payroll until the office reviews them.

Payroll from recorded shifts

Payroll batches use recorded shifts and are reviewed before payment. Configure daily and weekly overtime thresholds and a multiplier. Planium records payments; it does not move money.

Task evidence and approval

Workers upload photos and files, then submit tasks for review. Supervisors approve the work, and every status change stays in the task history.

Site issue reporting

Workers report site issues with photos and files from the app. The office can create and review issues on the web.

Drawing revisions

Keep one current revision per drawing sheet. Publishing a new revision notifies the site team, and each revision records who opened it.

Client progress link

Share site progress through a secure link without requiring a client account. Choose the visible sections and revoke access whenever needed.

Invoices and collections

Keep invoices, collections and cash flow alongside payroll. Recording a collection updates the invoice balance and status.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions about Planium.

What does Planium do for construction crews?

It connects weekly schedules, photo clock-in, hour verification and payroll. Crews can submit task evidence for approval, report issues with attachments and view current drawings. A secure client link shares site progress.

What does the free plan include?

5 field workers, 2 supervisors, unlimited office users, 2 sites (paused sites count) and 2 clients. It includes 5 tasks per worker per day, up to 25 overall; 100 schedule assignments per week; 1 payroll batch and 2 invoices per week.

How much is Pro, and is it priced per user?

Pro is $149.99 USD per company, per month, not per user, without the free-plan limits. Every company starts free and can subscribe to Pro on the web under settings → billing.

How are shifts recorded and verified?

Workers sign in with a phone number and an SMS code, choose a site and take a photo at both clock-in and clock-out. At the end, they confirm or change the calculated hours. The office verifies hours; payroll uses verified hours rather than worker-declared hours.

What if someone clocks in at an unscheduled site?

The shift is marked as outside the plan and supervisors are notified, but clock-in is allowed. The compliance check holds the shift out of payroll until the office confirms it or leaves it out of the batch.

How is location used during a shift?

The app saves the clock-in location and checks location against the site radius while the shift is open. Each sample is compared and discarded: no route history is stored. A normal shift keeps just the clock-in location. More than 30 minutes outside the site or insufficient location samples flag the shift and notify supervisors. Workers can still clock in if they deny permission; the shift is flagged.

Do workers need an internet connection to clock in?

Yes. Clock-in requires mobile data or wifi. Check site coverage and agree how workers should report access problems before rollout.

Does Planium pay workers?

Planium calculates payroll from closed shifts and verified hours for the office to review before payment. Daily and weekly overtime thresholds and the multiplier are configurable. It records payments; it does not move money or execute transfers.

How do workers sign in, and what can they see?

They use a phone number and an SMS code. Sessions renew without requiring a new code every day. The app shows their week, today’s assignments, tasks, site drawings, payroll and balance. They can draw their signature on a contract in the app. The worker app is in Spanish; the office web app supports English and Spanish.

What else can the office manage?

The CRM covers opportunities, follow-ups and quotes that can become projects. Company or site announcements include read receipts. Owners can also ask the AI assistant about company data. It answers in Spanish and is read-only: it cannot create or change records.
